OMG!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!!! I really can't believe it. I received a call yesterday while I was at work and they told me they got a prior authorization for the WLS!! I said REALLY??? and she said yes. I said "so does that me I am approved?" and she said yes. I wanted to keep asking her but she was really starting to get annoyed from me.
So now I have my appointment to meet the surgeon on Monday to hopefully set the surgery date. I still can't believe it!
So on my way home I had to rewind everything that happened on the phone with the first nurse that called me. And I still doubted myself. (ya weird UH?) So I called my nurse and told her what happened and asked her to call me and to please confirm that I did get approved. and sure enough she called back and told me to go ahead and "pinch" myself and it's true.

WWWOOOOWWWW!!!!!! I was soooo happy I can't even explain it. But you know it won't hit me until I have tha actual date and I do it.

p.s does prior authorization mean approved??

I know can you believe it. it was fast wasn't it!!!! but i am not complaining!!!! I think because it was fast I am having a hard time beleiving and worried that they might change there mind...(if there is such a thing)
